You’re probably already aware that email is not very secure and is easily read by scammers. So let’s start by reviewing this list of things you should NOT send in an email:

    • Social Security numbers
    • Driver’s License numbers
    • Passport numbers
    • State-issue ID numbers
    • Any bank/financial account numbers
    • Credit/debit card numbers
    • Protected health information
    • Documents protected by attorney-client privilege
    • Any passwords or authentication credentials
    • And any other personal identity information
