Check the locks
Sometimes, a website might ask you to enter some personal or financial information - especially if you are shopping online. THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to know BEFORE you type in ANY personal information into a web page is if it is "SECURE." Fortunately, it is easy to know if a web page IS "secure." BEFORE you type in any personal information, make sure there is a picture of a little "lock" next to the title of the page at the top of your screen: If there is NOT a picture of a lock, DON'T enter your info.
