Receiving Email: Phishing

…And the scams just keep on coming!

As you can see, there are many ways scammers “phish” for your information. You have only seen a sample of the clever schemes they use and they are always coming up with new ways.

As said earlier, you can avoid these scams by:

1. Never opening an email from someone you don’t know.

2. Never tapping on a link in an email unless you can verify it is from someone you can trust (and not a fake).

3. Never downloading an attachment unless you absolutely trust the sender (and verify it’s not a fake)
