What NOT to put in an email!
You might think of email as kind of like a “postcard.” It is possible for a “hacker” to see what your email says. So here is a list of things you should NOT send via email:
- Social Security numbers
- Driver’s License numbers
- Passport numbers
- State-issue ID numbers
- Any bank/financial account numbers
- Credit/debit card numbers
- Protected health information
- Documents protected by attorney-client privilege
- Any passwords or authentication credentials
- And any other personal identity information
