Texting Basics
From your tablet's home page, tap on the "Messages" picture. Tap the little picture that looks like a plus sign in a circle: Tap the space next to the "To:" and type the phone number (or name) of the person you want to text. Tap the space next to the picture of the paperclip and type a short message. Tap "Send" to send your message
